Local Austinite Katie Mae decided to follow her passion for animals, by helping others care for their pets with her dog Dakoda in 2006. The business started growing, and she soon called in her little sister Chelsey Rae and her pup Whooky for back up. The four worked side by side for 10 years growing along with the city they loved so much, Austin Texas. In 2019 Chelsey Rae took over the company and found a small farm to use for their kennel-free boarding establishment just outside of Austin, in Bastrop. KMCR Petcare is now able to open their hearts and doors for the pets of the Austin, and Bastrop area by offering a variety of services within both locations.
No two people are exactly the same, and neither are their pets. That’s why KMCR Petcare offers services that can be customized to suit the exact needs of your animals. You can elect to have sitters stay at your home, or your pets can spend the night with us at the Farm. Daily support services, such as play groups, neighborhood walks, and feedings are available on a one time or reoccurring basis.
